Sync Only the Inbox

I am doing a 10 minute pull of an Office365 account. I really only need the inbox to sync. Is it a requirement to also sync Draft, Sent and Deleted? I can't seem to disable those. Thx.

Yes that's how it works.

Exchange always has those "special folders" accessible on the server (unlike IMAP where it's optional and POP3 where it's not available) and so it made sense for me to assume that those should be synced too.

Do those folders take a long time for you?

What is the account's "messages to sync" setting? To check please long press the account -> options and folders -> account options.

It is not taking forever but it is longer than necessary because I only need the inbox. I am syncing 100 messages. But what you said makes sense and I figured that might be the issue. Thanks.
