cannot set up yahoo mail

I successfully set up aquamail previously although it took some work to track down the correct settings.  I have both a personal and business account through yahoo.  A couple weeks ago they stopped working.  My other email apps continued to work so I do not believe the issues were with yahoo.  But I HATE the other apps and would really love to have aqua mail back.  At the point where it was working I copied down the settings and even though I am using the exact settings that worked before, I am getting authentication errors on both the incoming and outgoing servers saying the password and usernames are incorrect (they are not). I have also tried deleting the accounts and setting them up all over.....no go.  Here are the settings that previously worked but are no longer working:

Personal account: my email address with correct password, incoming server type IMAP, imap.mail.yahoo.com,.port 993, security ssl accept all certificates, no folder prefix, outgoing server smtp.mail.yahoo.com, port 465, security ssl accept all certificates

Business maill: my business email address with correct password, incoming server type pop3, incoming server pop.bizmail.yahoo.com, port 995, security ssl accept all certificates,outgoing serverbSTMP, smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com port 465

Any thoughts?

The authentication errors are on Yahoo's side.

Search the web -- there is literally a million pages about this.

I've seen it with my @yahoo.com account in my app and stock Email in Android 4.2.2 (official firmware, Galaxy Nexus).

A workaround I discovered is to go to Yahoo's web site, open their web mail, log out... then restart the web browser, and log into Yahoo mail again.

This fixed the issue in both my app and stock Android Email for me.

I tried this and it worked... 
well when I'm on the road and can't get to a PC to login to do this would be a pain...
Does this happen with all internet email services - eg like hotmail, or others?
Is this isolated to Yahoo?

I get Authentication error 535.5.7.0 (#AUTH605) Internal Server Error.
Please make sure data is correct...
I'm assuming the Aquamail program knows how to configure yahoo mail...

"Internal Server Error" really speaks for itself.

Yahoo rolled out an update of their mail system last December, and things apparently are still more unstable than they'd been before.

The web browser song and dance is not necessary with any other mail provider. It's a "magic trick" I discovered for Yahoo - but then again, other mail providers don't have random auth failures to the extent that Yahoo does.

Oh, obviously, this really needs to be fixed on the server.
