Office365 "outdated/risky connection type"
« on: October 17, 2025, 12:26:36 am »
Today, one of my Office365 connections had me reauthenticate. It gave me a message stating that Aquamail was not approved then emailed me the following. Has anyone seen this?

Hello allengwinn,

This situation is caused by your company’s Office365 policies, and unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do from our side to change that. Some corporate accounts require that apps be explicitly approved before they can connect, and Aqua Mail is currently not recognized as an approved app in your organization.

You will need to contact your company’s IT department to see if they are willing to approve Aqua Mail for use.
