I've been happily running AquaMail for years on all the Android devices and OS versions that I've used, and I have a "pro" subscription.

Now I want to try to get AquaMail to run on a totally de-Googled device, and I'm wondering whether anyone knows of a way that I could somehow purchase some sort of direct-pay subscription that doesn't require any kind of connection to Google Play Store nor any other Google services.

By "totally de-Googled", I mean not even using anything like microG to set up an anonymized, pass-though connection to Google. I know that some apps offer the alternative of directly purchasing a license that doesn't depend on any kind of Google connectivity, and I'm wondering whether there's any way to do the same with AquaMail.

I've searched for info about this on line and couldn't find anything, but I'm hoping that I might have just overlooked something.

I think that AM requires Google Play Store unfortunately.

If you have/buy a Google Pixel you could run Grapheneos and run Google Play Store/Services sandboxed and get AM to run that way I believe :)
