I can't set up aquamail

I got a new tablet and installed aquamail on it.  I can't get it configured.  It asks me for my email address [I have many, so I don't know which one it wants] and a password, and again, I have no idea what password it wants.   but no matter which I have tried I get
   Incoming mail server (IMAP)  error connecting
  Outgoing mail server (SMTP)   error connecting

What am I doing wrong??

When Aqua Mail asks for your email address and password, it’s referring specifically to the credentials you use to sign in to your email account—not your Aqua Mail login (because Aqua Mail doesn’t have one).


What Email Address Should You Enter?

This is the address of your actual email account—the one you use to send and receive messages. For example:

• If you use Gmail: `john.doe@gmail.com`
• For Outlook: `john.doe@outlook.com`
• For Yahoo: `john.doe@yahoo.com`


What Password Should You Enter?

This is the login password for your email account—the same one you use to log into your inbox using a browser or another app.
