Mail content mixed upi

I have a problem since yesterday. One mail will contain a long string of unreadable characters. Then its content will appear in the next mail and that of the next to the afterwards, so on an so forth.
This only happens to mail from Yahoo, but when I check in Yahoo, they are correct. Something went wrong in the down load process. Can someone help?

Yahoo is in the process of merging their mail systems with AOL's and Verizon's.

Anything is possible.

We only display what we get from the mail server, don't add any "extra garbage" ourselves.

Would be best to contact Yahoo support.
