Old & Deleted emails [from PC] remain as unread [in AquaMail]

This is just an informative post (I hope others find value in it too). Admins decide if it stays or not. It's more of a tip than anything. I do not require any replies.

So, I have an @live.com MS Exchange account on my PC's Outlook and the same one on Android AquaMail. The problem I'm about to describe has happened before as well, thou I cannot recall if it was again with the same account or with one of my IMAP gmail accounts.

So - every now and then when I read all (and delete some) of my mails on PC, then some of them would remain undeleted and still unread in AquaMail on my Android ph. I did as @Thomas suggested in this thread - https://www.aqua-mail.com/forum/index.php?topic=1474.msg4632#msg4632 and immediately after I hit the sync button then 2 undeleted and unread mails disappeared (just as they should have done long ago).

The solution, as @Thomas said, is to enable 'Push mail' for the account in question. See screenshot.

It was actually only the @live.com MS Exchange account where I enabled 'Push'. I disabled it on the IMAP ones cos if it's enabled then there's this persistent annoying icon in the notifications constantly syncing push or whatever. So perhaps the Push tip should be limited only to MS Exchange accounts.
