Sent folder android phone
« on: July 05, 2018, 03:06:41 am »
Messages being sent from my android phone but not appearing in Sent folder on that phone. Sent folder is empty but test emails are being sent OK. Have I missed something about AqyuaMail set up?

Hello,

Can you check if you have synced the "Sent" folder? Accessing server folders is explain in the FAQ, near the top:
http://www.aqua-mail.com/?page_id=227

In short:
- please long press on the account (on the app's main screen), choose options and folders -> folders.
- wait for the folder list to refresh
- tap the "Sent folder" and choose "Sync with Sent folder"

You can also open folders "as needed", without setting them "to sync". This is explained in the FAQ.

Thanks Nedialko

Yes, I found that in the FAQs and tried it but no lucK. That's why I posted here. I have tried the syncing process a number of times. My phone shows the sent folder is synced but no sent messages appear in the Sent Folder. Mail messages are definitely being sent - I have sent a number of test messages and they are being recieved. I have just found that the sent messages are actually appearing in my Smart Folder. Any suggestions how to get them to sync to Sent Folder?
Thanks
Chris

I should have added that Sent Mesages - include sent messages is not checked in the Smart Folder settings.

Please also check:

Long press on the account on the app's main screen -> options and folders -> composing and sending -> save sent messages

Defaults to "on" but perhaps worth checking.
