Change options in Android notification menu

Hi,

is there a way to change the options shown in the Android notification menu when there is a new email?

Currently there are 2 options "Delete" and "Read". I would like to have an (additional) option to immediately highlight (star) emails.

There is no option to "star" messages from notifications, sorry.
