Emails not syncing after adding Gmail

I have the pro version purchased from Play store. It was working perfectly before when i was using personal emails of my site. But i recently added my Gmail, and now it doesn't sync automatically and i have to open the app, refresh to download the emails. I don't think i modified any settings before or after adding my gmail. I have my sync settings set to every thirty minutes and with night mode on.

So it will alert me of emails once the night no-disturb mode is off, but then rest of the day there will be no notifications from the app. The app seems to be running in the background, what might be the problem?

The FAQ has a detailed section on "app not checking mail", please see that.

In addition, please check if the "last sync time" below the account is shown in red - which indicates network errors.

I did look at the faq but i don't seem to have problem with errors or certificate mismatch. When I press the refresh button, everything works fine. it's just not checking anything when it's on the background. Aquamail, AquaMain StartSync Service, Aquamail Command Service has been running in the background for 37 hours

I'm turning off "Turn off Scheduled checks" to see if it is causing anything.

You should check if 'Scheduled sync' is enabled in the app's generell settings:
-> Settings -> Mail, receiving -> turn on 'Scheduled sync'

Ah, you meant the special setting in 'Nights and weekends'...  now it is understandable for me.

Well it was not on the special settings, it was on the main settings. But i thought it only affected the night hours.

it's working great now. almost instant notifications from Gmail and no more white Gmail app.
