Opening a link doesn't work as it used to

Hi! I use the app a lot, I love it.
Recent changes have impeded my work. Please help me switch off the following feature:

I receive an email from a site. In the email there is a link that, once clicked, takes me TO THE SITE'S app. This was working until the last update. Now aquamail tries to open the link in some kind of internal browser. I need the links to work as before, taking me to the app.

How do I restore this function?

-> Settings -> Message view -> disable 'Open web links in AquaMail'
