I have my email account with US based carrier Frontier.com which uses Yahoo to host its email. I use AquaMail Pro both on a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet and on a recent Samsung Note 5 phone. Both run Android 7.
Recently when browsing through AquaMail settings on the tablet, I saw an option to upgrade Frontier.com email to OAUTH, which I did on the tablet, and I receive my Frontier mail just fine on it.
But now on my Samsung Galaxy Note phone I cannot retrieve email for this account any longer. I am not presented with any option to upgrade to OAUTH on the phone. I can reenter my Frontier password on the phone in AquaMail settings and it appears to validate just fine. However, then on the first attempt to fetch email, I immediately get an error message in AquaMail "Incoming server login error: NO (#MBR1236)".
Meanwhile, my wife can access our Frontier.com email account just fine on her Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet even though she has not upgraded to Yahoo OAUTH.
The Android Yahoo Mail app on my phone does not allow me to specify authentication settings for Frontier email. It does allow me to receive my Frontier.com emails in its ugly interface.
Please help me receive Frontier email on my phone once again using AquaMail.
