Unfortunately, This is not the right way to deal with this problem.
Yes, changing the color to the account in white (example) will resolve "temporary" the problem.
BUT, how about the email size? and/or bottom tub when the email is open?
The simple and easy way will be that developer on the next update to add clear to account name and size in Smart Folder. This will solve all the aggravation and frustration of too many peoples.
