Copy email address...
« on: January 06, 2016, 05:11:24 am »
Maybe I just don't see it...

I can long-press and move adresses to change the order, I can edit the email address, but how do I cut or copy an address to use elsewhere?

I can't highlight the address and there are no controls to cut/copy once it becomes "editable." I'm seeing this on a Galaxy Note5. Is it a phone limitation?

e.g. In Handcent SMS I tap an address and it takes me directly to Aqua. I want to copy that address and use it in Keep or just plain copy it before sending. I see that you can drag the address into the email body and do it from there, but that moves the whole text around and I have to kinda put it back into place.

Any ideas?

Thank you.
Mike.

You can disable "Contact chips":
> go to Account list view (the app's main window) > Menu > Settings > Contacts > disable "Contact chips"

Then, the email addresses are treated as plain text and you should be able to mark and copy an address.

Thank you, mikeone, it's what I needed.

I did look at the FAQs, but i must have missed it. I went through it just now, but the answer eluded me yet again. I didn't quite understand the "chips" concept, i just found it useful for moving contacts around, so I just enabled it.

Total you kindly, your help is much appreciated.

I'm glad to hear that your problem could be solved by that way.
Enjoy with AquaMail.
