Chromebook - Is there a Spell Checker Option?

I have searched the forum and there is reference to the Spell Checker option, which relies on the underlying keyboard in Android.

Is there one for Chromebooks?

Android has had a system level spell checker since version 4.0.

It is my understanding that Android emulation in Chrome OS is a "make believe" Android 4.4 or 5.0.

Maybe Google never implemented this feature in this environment (Android inside Chrome OS)?

Would be a good question for Google / Chrome OS support.
