Change signature location
« on: November 25, 2015, 07:37:11 pm »
I'm wondering if it's possible to change the location of the signature. By default, Thunderbird (and traditional email format) puts the signature after the quote in a reply and under a line of "-- " (two dashes and a space). At the moment, I can't find a setting that says place signature after quote in reply. If I add the delimiter "-- " to my signatures, everything after that line will be treated as part of the signature, including the quote.

If I understand correctly what you want,
Settings -> Composing and sending -> "Keep signature in the middle" and "Reply at the bottom" are the two options that will help you setting it to your liking.
I would expect that if you disable the first one, it will place the signature at the bottom.
The second option will allow you to choose where your actual reply goes.
