Multiple Shared Mailboxes
« on: October 09, 2015, 10:14:52 pm »
I have multiple shared mailboxes, anyway to connect more then one with an account - also I would like to filter them out so they don't get marked as read/unread but I can still access them when I need them.

It is not completely clear what you mean by "shared mailboxes". Are you talking about shared e-mail accounts (i.e. e-mail accounts that are used by more than one person)?
Assuming that's the case, - what do you mean by "to filter them out"? Out of what and where to?

As for marking message read, - please read this thread that just preceded your question in the same forum: http://www.aqua-mail.com/forum/index.php?topic=4024.msg21159#msg21159

Ok i read that other forum, it's not really what I'm looking for. So maybe if I explain my business use, what I am looking for will be more clear. So I work for an MSP IT firm. Essentially I'm the IT department for small businesses. I have four mailboxes attached to my exchange account, two which are purely for the calendar aspect of exchange, one that looks logs issues automatically for our ticket system, and finally my personal email. I recieve about 5,000 emails from my automated ticket email a week. I like to access these emails from my phone, but I just want them in a folder so I can review them with our clogging my inbox. That's what I mean by filtering out. Any solutions that you might know of.

So, you are talking about different folders within one account, not different accounts. Right?

I don't use exchange, but I from what I know, you can sync various folders,  similarly to how it is done with IMAP.

Then,  you just specify which folders you want to sync. (See the FAQ or one of the recent threads in this forum on how to do that.)

(I am not sure what's the problem. Maybe you mean something different? Then explain,  please.)

I believe he's talking about Exchange "shared folders".

Sorry, there isn't, and it also isn't possible to access both the account's folders and shared folders together under one account.

Yes, I do know that it's more sophisticated in Outlook (the Windows app).

Hey Kostya,

That's cool. I'm not too bothered, I know your a one-player team over there and you work hard at what you do. Keep up the good work and if you feel like adding it into your already amazing program let me know. Thanks.
