Any idea why the unread badge is not updating in this version? I haven't reinstalled the app yet but would you suggest this?

Unread badge in Samsung's TouchWiz launcher?

No changes there whatsoever.

Please try resetting the badge counter, I have a small app for doing that on the downloads page:
