How to select ALL messages in folder -- not just the first displayed page?

Using Samsung Galaxy Note4

How can I "select" ALL the messages in a folder . . . not just the first displayed page?

Example:  There are 50 messages in a folder.   When I go to that folder, then click "Select All" . . . ONLY the first 8 or so messages are actually selected, NOT "all" in the rest of the list.

WANTED:  Whenever I click "Select ALL". .. . I would like ALL to be selected (not just the first screen).

I can't find the setting for this.
