Sending Mail to mac.com

Is there an issue with sending emails to mac.com accounts?  I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3.  I've sent emails to three separate people who use mac.com as their email.  I am sending it from gmail.com.  They are not receiving my emails.  I can send the same email on my laptop using Outlook and they receive it.

I have an @icloud.com account, and:

- Sent three messages from my Gmail account: one from Aqua, one from Gmail / web, one from Gmail / Android

- All three appeared in the Sent folder in Gmail / web

- Message sent from Aqua appeared on the iPhone and iCloud / web about five minutes later

- Messages sent from Gmail / web and Gmail / Android still haven't made it to iPhone or iCloud / web twenty minutes one hour two hours later

- Sent two test messages from a different mail account (@Yandex.ru), one from Aqua, one from web mail

- Both made it to the iPhone and iCloud / web within seconds

Looks like there is an issue, but it does not look exclusive to Aqua, but rather related to Gmail and iCloud

Yes, I did see what you wrote about Outlook, but the above is what I saw.

Specifically for Aqua: please try long pressing the account -> options and folders -> composing and sending -> turn off "Send Message-ID header" at the end of the list.

For the last week I've experience problems getting mail on my .mac/.me/.icloud email account.

It's seems to be exclusive to Gmail account emails being sent to me.

Co-workers are experiencing similar issues in totally separate scenarios, so I know it's not isolated to me.

 Anyone else getting screwed by this?  I  can't find any support on this and the apple support link says access denied when trying initiate a simple response.

Update:

Message sent from Gmail / web finally made it into my iCloud account 13 (!!!) hours later.

Message sent from Gmail / Android is still nowhere to be seen.

I checked the headers of the message that took 13 hours to make it from Gmail / web to iCloud, and...

The delay is on Google's side.

Once the message got through to Apple's side, the rest took seconds.

But prior to that, it sat on Google's servers for a loooong time, those 13 hours.
