Scrolling list for "Move to Folder" icon press?
« on: December 14, 2014, 01:22:43 am »
When I am viewing an email and I press the "Folder" icon to do a "Move to folder ... " action, the "Move to folder ..." menu pops up with perhaps three to five recently used folders listed as menu items along with an "Other folders ..." menu item that allows me to bring up all my folders in a scrolling list.

Is there a setting or any other way to get the original "Folder" icon press to pop up the scrolling list directly?  I often need to file a lot of emails in various folders, and the extra step of having to press the "Other folders ..." menu item just makes it take twice as long.

(I have tried a LOT of email apps, and AquaMail tops them all - would really love it extra extra if I had this capability :-)

P.S.  I doubt it matters, but just in case, I am using AquaMail on a Samsung Note 2 over Verizon.

P.P.S.  I did do a search of the forum and did not find an answer.

Not directly, but you can increase 1) how many "recent" folders are shown right away and 2) how long they're kept considered "recent" (to be included in this list).

This is in the app's settings under "account list", but it affects the "recent folders" list everywhere.

Thanks for the fast response, Kostya and mikeone.

I think I have maxed out what I can do by selecting "30" for the "Recent folder count" and "One month" for the "Keep recent folder for" setting.

Consider this a feature request :-)  Actually, just adding an "Unlimited" option for "Recent folder count" and a "Forever" option for "Keep recent folder for" to the current options would achieve pretty much the same thing.

Thanks again.
