Not able to attach calendar

I decently purchased new phone HTC ONE E8 ANDROID ,4.4.4
When I added a calender item in calender and then try to send the invite to other by choosing share with aquamail, it failed, I use imap. 
I was able to do it with my earlier phone note 1 jb 4.1.3

Are you "Sharing" from HTC's own Calendar app?

Yes I am sharing from HTC own calender application but I have Google account set up as calender
