Multiple new mail icons in Status Bar - is there a way to just have 1?

Hi all

Just wondering if there's something I'm missing in Settings but is there some way of only having 1 new mail icon is the status bar regardless of how many new emails you may have received from different accounts that have been set up? It drives me nuts seeing multiple new mail icons in the status bar, I mean after all if you can see that you have a new email(s) you are going to open the app to have a look and you'll see the others then. If it's any help I've got an S4 Mini and am running the latest version of Aqua Mail Pro and all my mail accounts are synced at the same regular interval.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated, thanks

I only see one notification icon.

The latest builds allow you to customise the colour of the icon based on the account too - so if there are new emails in one account only, the icon shows as a defined colour. If there are new messages in more than one account, I only see one notification icon, shown in white.

Yes, you can receive a unified status bar notification.

App settings ->  smart folder -> enable "use for notifications".

Now there will be only one (hehe), and tapping the notification will take you to the combined inbox (which I call Smart Folder).

Thank you both sincerely for your replies, I am most grateful 

As it turns out, I wasn't using the Smart Folder, rather I just had the App opening up to my multicoloured mail accounts list.  I have now activated the Smart Folder to alleviate getting multiple icons showing up on my status bar ( I would have preferred not to use it - but not to worry, it's no biggy ).

I had already colour coded the various accounts' notifications, but thanks ever so much for the suggestion though, just in case.
