Note 3 wakes up when mail arrives

I have Aqua Mail notifications turned off. When I get a mail I don't want a sound or vibration or LED or anything. I still get the number of unread messages in my Aqua Mail icon, which is terrific. However, every time I get a new mail, my phone screen turns on. Is there a way to prevent this? Or is possibly some other app occasionally turning my phone on for some unknown reason?

Hi, I'm using Aqua with my Note 3,please verify under settings of Aqua if you have selected to activate the screen when you receive one new email.
Notification section contains all features. I'm sure this is the cause.

I'm not seeing this on my Note 3 (stock 4.3), or any other device.

One possible explanation is that by Fcasoli (thanks!).

Another is that maybe you have a third party app that provides enhanced notifications... and it's this app lighting up the screen.
