Not all folders are showing up
« on: March 23, 2014, 10:51:06 pm »
I setup Aquamail for an account I don't use to much and actually ended up really liking it, upgraded to the pro version and added my work account (IMAP) and started setting things up. When I went to check and see all of my folders were loading I noticed that only about 75% of the folders were there. I checked around in the others folder, tried syncing and un-syncing folders but still could not get some of them to show up. I decided I'd delete the account and try again but still no luck, not getting all of the folders to show up. I've searched through the forum but didn't find anything similar to this, just the basics of viewing folders/structures. Its a Microsoft Outlook account... Any suggestions?

Thanks

Since you mention Outlook -- do you mean Outlook the mail app for Windows?

Is it possible that the missing folders only exist in Outlook itself, on your Windows computer, and not on the mail server?

Do you have web mail access to the account so you could check?

Yes, I was just talking about Outlook on my computer but I can go through the web access and see all the folders there as well. Its actually an Outlook Exchange account (OWA).

Configured using IMAP? Or EWS?

I could investigate if you captured this in a debug log (see link in my signature).

I'd need "raw session data" enabled. Please enable logging, reboot the device running AquaMail, then long press the account -> options and folders -> folders, and let it refresh (watch the spinning progress wheel).

After this, please send the log to kmansoft / gmail - and let me know the names of the missing folders.

Thanks.

Its configured as EWS with Aquamail, I thought it was IMAP but it doesn't give me the option to set it up that way. I sent you a email with log and missing folder names.

Thanks

Just an FYI for others who may read this -- resolved, fix is included in 1.3.25
