How do i delete the emails immediately once deleted from server

Hello,
In POP3 account, my mails downloaded onto mobile are not getting deleted once deleted from server. I have configured in my laptop as dont leave a copy on the server. But those emails are still on Mobile while they are not on server. its getting deleted only when server is totally empty. Is there a way to delete the emails from mobile once they are not on the server.

Hmmm... do you understand what is POP3? Your post describe something like IMAP problem not POP3. If it is POP3 then it works well.
Maybe write more clearly cause it is hard to understand... once you write 'mobile', the second time 'laptop'.

For POP3, "delete when server empty" is the only way to do this, at least for now.

IMAP, being more advanced, lets the app detect when individual messages go missing on the server, and then they're removed from the app.

Sorry if its was not clear. Let me give one example
 
a. I have Email A on my server and its downloaded onto mobile.
b. I downloaded this email onto my outlook (laptop). Right now there is no email on the server.
c. I have switched off my laptop
d. I have received Email B. This exists on my server at the moment as my laptop is off
e. Now my Aquamail is again sync with Server. It downloaded email B. Email A is not deleted from mobile as "Purge is only when the mail server is empty"
f. The email is sterile. Because i configured as download headers only mode when i am clicking on more details its unable to fetch as its obvious that email doesnt exist in my server.
g. To delete this email A, i have to wait til next sync when there are no emails on my server otherwise need to delete it manually.

Thanks for the info. Right now my outlook configuration in laptop is delete emails from server after 1 week. So in this case, there is no way my server will be empty and this starts piling up my downloaded emails on my Aquamail-mobile. Correct ? any way to rectifiy this issue.

Vikram,

You're asking the app to detect when individual messages are deleted from the sever.

For POP3, I can't think of a way to do this efficiently and reliably, given the constraints of a mobile app (limited traffic, limited number of messages looked at when checking mail).

Note that it’s not really necessary to delete messages from the app — old messages are automatically deleted over time without affecting the server, keeping storage usage under control. The default is to keep 250 most recent messages per folder (and can be change in each account’s Folders and Options).

I'm really loving AquaMail!  It's the best Android mail app out there by far!  However, I am having the same issue as Vikram with POP & messages deleted from the server (by another mail client) not showing as deleted in AquaMail.

I don't quite understand why you say that you can't think of a good way to make this happen, every other Android POP client I have previously used is able to do this?

I second this request. 

I forget which emails have been removed from the server (not from Aqua Mail) and then it is hard to keep them in sync on my device as I use Aqua Mail Pro on my phone and tablet and Webmail from my laptop.  None of them are in sync after removing them using my laptop.

I previously used Kaiten mail and it would sync immediately after messages were removed directly from the server.

I had to stop using Aqua Mail and go back to Kaiten Mail just because of this issue.  Please spend some time and try and resolve this.  It works in the default mail app as well as Katien Mail.

This feature is already implemented in K9 email. Could you please check and have it on Aquamail. This email piling up is becoming a big issue for me.

This was added in the current development builds, posted on this forum (please see the Development Builds section).

For POP3, it's off by default (to avoid changing things for those who already have the app), and should be enabled in the account's Options and Folders.
