HTML Signatures
« on: October 24, 2013, 07:22:20 am »
How do I use my html signature in my aquamail mail? I've tried inserting the code into the signature box but it doesn't seem to read it.

The signature editing dialog has a button to switch to rich (formatted) edit mode. Please use that.

PS - if you paste HTML code into an email, anywhere, like Gmail web mail, or Thunderbird, that's not treated as HTML code either.

What does "nothing changed" mean, exactly?

Please see the attachments - before and after. Did you get the formatting bar?

Oh, and one more thing -- the format of new messages is plain text by default. Please check app settings -> composing and sending -> formatted vs. plain text -> set to formatted.

Yes, I know, it's never enough. Not to mention there is no Calibri font.

For more professional signatures

-Picture layout options  (below screenshot from word)
-mobile direct call links tel:0123456789 not work! (mailto:example@example.com  works fine)

can you develop them

Do you seriously think that a small mail app (for a mobile device) could rebuild all features from a desktop application like Microsoft Word?

There is already layout options in rich signature options. But pictures can not be arranged side of the text.

Word is a just example and small web editors also have many layout features like http://htmleditor.in [nofollow]

Try in gmail tel number link like (tel:0123456789) then from mobile it can click then directly call screen.
But from Aqua signature it doesnt works!

I just fixed the handling of "tel:" links, look for it in the next -dev build.

You'll be able to select a piece of text, select it, and use the "link" button to set a "tel:" URI.

Thanks Kostya

Is there any news about text wrapping of images in layout options?
