Deactivate sync notification

First I'm a new user of aqua email and I really like it. I'm trying it and will most certainly buy the full version since I have several email to connect to.

In an also using a desktop notification app to view incoming SMS or incoming phone call directly on my desktop. If line to receive email notifications as well but Aqua Mail send a notification everytime it sync which is about every fifteen minutes. Which make use of notification pretty useless since pop up are always popping.

Can I just deactivate sync notification?

Yes, there is a setting under Look and Feel for this.

You could also ask the developer of the notification app to try and tell apart "ongoing" and "event" notifications... It's all in the docs...

Aren't they developers, too? Can't they make changes to their code?

I manage to, from time to time (although not as often and as well as I'd like), so it must be possible for others, too
