Yes:
- You must be trying to add an account that's not present in phone settings
- Google requires that we perform login in a web browser (not in the app)
- You've got a web browser that Google doesn't like
Solution:
- Use a different browser - Chrome (best), Firefox, Samsung Internet (should work, but we've not tested)
- Install one of these if necesssary
- Clear your current browser being set as default (in phone settings -> apps)
- Add your accounts
Later you can uninstall the browser you won't want and go back to the one you prefer
