Retrieve messages at start up?

Hello all. I'm test driving Aquamail before jumping to Pro to see how I like it. One issue I'm having is that Aquamail does not seem to retrieve messages immediately at start up. I'm one of those folks that shuts down my phone each night and when I turn it on in the morning I expected Aquamail to retrieve messages right then.

Instead it seems to wait for the poll frequency in settings only. My current email app (k-@ which seems to be going away) had a setting to poll at start up then it would poll based on the frequency setting thereafter. I couldn't find a way to make Aquamail retrieve messages at start up and didn't see anything in the forums. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks much

Start up - reboot?

Or launching the app's UI?

Either way please see app settings -> mail, receiving -> check mail on events (scroll down past "push mail") -> start by tapping "even types".

Thanks for the response. It would be a reboot type event. I'll check the setting you mentioned. Oddly enough, it started working all on it's own today. Go figure. Thanks for the help!
