Has this progressed any? I just bought the full version of Aqua Mail, and am running into this problem as well. Just to give some background, I use Fastmail. One feature I use is that my Fastmail account name, e.g. MyFastMail@fastmail.com, is known ONLY to me, all my emails are sent out and received using aliases (what Aqua Mail calls an identity), either one like MyPublicName@Fastmail.com or one with my own personal domain which also gets mapped to Fastmail, Me@Lastname.com. It's a security feature. So even people who email me don't know my actual account name at Fastmail. And I'd like to keep it that way. But the default when composing a new mail in Aqua Mail is to use the "log in" account identity, which is the one that no one else should ever know. So I'd like to the default to be one of the identities I set up in Aqua Mail. Hope this is something that'll be coming out soon, otherwise I'll have to make sure I remember to change the identity every time I compose a new message. Thanks!
