Office365 calendar events duplition in certain conditions

Hi!

I found the problem, where events for Office365 calendar are duplicated many times.

The steps to reproduce are:

- Using PC (I use outlook office365 Web Browser) create series event, repeated for a longer time (each day, certain day of week, whatever)
- Using AquaMail on Android refresh an account
- Using any Calendar client on Android verify this new event appears after a few seconds.
- Go back to Outlook and delete only ONE OCCURRENCE (NOT entire series)
- Using AquaMail on Android refresh account
- Now look onto calendar on Android. Deleted occurrence disappears as it should, but the rest from series are duplicated many times per each occurrence.

I observe this behavior using stock Google Calendar and Business Callendar 2 as well.
I do not observe this behavior using Android Outlock client, because it doesn't use shared Calendar Storage from Android.
So, it's certainly not the problem of calendar.

I use Android 6 with the latest Aqua Mail and Calendars at the time.

Thank you in advance for verifying this problem, because it makes calendar works very slow and also causes the event reminders to be repeated a lot of time for a single event occurrence.

That is odd.  The symtoms you describe are just about what happens when a repeating task, or event is created.

I've attached two screenshots in order to describe even better than words:)
First is OK - shows the state directly after adding event.
Second is NOK - shows the state after removing one occurrence.

This time, I've just used Outlock for Android to create and update an event.

I've got an Exchange 365 account and have done the above many times, no issues.

Please capture the problem in the app's debug log.

The instructions are linked below in my signature.

You will need to enable "raw session data" in debug log settings.

With the log enabled, please repeat all the above steps:

- Create initial repeating event
- Sync into Android (Calendar app -> refresh), verify that it showed
- Delete one instance in Office 365 web calendar
- Sync into Android (Calendar app -> refresh), verify the "problem".

Finally, please send the debug log to support / at / aqua-mail / dot com.
