MEETING REQUEST AND DEJA OFFICE CALENDAR
« on: April 22, 2016, 05:55:25 pm »
Aqua Mail Pro is not updating Deja Office Calendar on my Samsung Android S5 cell phone.
Whenever I get a meeting request on Aqua Mail Pro, for example from Microsoft Outlook, I do the following:
1) I open the email
2) I open the meeting request (see attached image). Please note that I have indicated I want it saved to DejaOffice Calendar.
3) I tap on "ACCEPT"

The person sending the request does get a notification that I accepted but it is never saved in DejaOffice Calendar. Instead, it saves it to the native Samsung Calendar app. And if I disable that app then it doesn't recognize any calendar!!!

By the way, the option of changing to a different calendaring system is no an option.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Paris. I actually did see that suggestion but it's a go-around and adds an extra step. If there is no other solution I may do that or change email apps. I have to believe there are other options out there if AquaMail can't solve this. Thanks anyway for your quick response!

Does it work with your @gmail calendar?

What about the device's local calendar (since you mention a Samsung, I believe S Planner has a preset "Local calendar" entry)?

Maybe it's a bug in Deja not AquaMail?
