Can't select multiple messages in messages list

I am using version 1.6.1.2 pro version.
When I try to select multiple messages swipping the finger over de left icon of messages, the messages don't return selected. Instead the screen refresh.
In older version it's worked very well and its a great feature to people that receive a lot of spam.
My phone is a moto X (2 Generation) using Android 6.0.

Works for me too, so please check the setting, maybe rebooting the phone would be a good idea too.

Does the "pull to select" panel slide out at all (from the top of the message list)?

I did make a small change to "pull to..." logic, where it's less easy to trigger accidentally by a very fast and brief swipe (it could trigger before the panel had the time to slide out == before the user could understand what was happening).

Oh and just to clarify: as you drag your finger down, there should be a panel sliding out from above saying "Pull to select", and a horizontal progress bar showing how far you've dragged so far.

Once the horizontal bar reaches the full width of the screen, the prompt changes to "Release to select" and you can release your finger.

Yeah !
Now I can do the select all.....
The problem was the speed used to swipe the finger....  Now we need to do a slower swipe !

There was a case where a user was swiping and selecting all -- without even being aware of it.

And this would happen in the middle of a mass delete (cleanup), so naturally it was causing a lot of trouble.

I just made a change to make "pull to..." a little more responsive, will be in the next Play update (hopefully in a few days). Hopefully it's better balanced now.
