This is unusual.
Can you provide an exact original message source?
Two ways:
- Use web mail or a desktop mail app to open one of those, then look for "View -> Show original" or "Menu -> View message source" or similar. Save to a plain text file, send as attachment.
- Use web mail or a desktop mail app to "forward as attachment" (.eml), *not* "plain" forward where the original message is below and you type new stuff above.
