I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5. I cannot get Aquamail to show up in the notification bar this time, except when a message arrives. Messages take a while to come in.
I have been using Aquamail with no problems for a few years , on this phone and an old Galaxy S. Yesterday, I tried to reply to an email and got an error with a black exclamation mark in an a orange triangle. I tried a few things and then, stupidly, cleared the app in the app manager. That deleted the account.
So, i added the account back. I am using Outlook on my PC.
Incoming server is Pop3 with a bunch of numbers (74.xxx.xxx.xx), port 110. The outgoing server is mail.telus.net, port 25.
I set my account on my phone to (incoming) Pop3, server name: pop.domainname.com, SSL, port 995 and (outgoing) to smtp.telus.net, port 25, not encrypted.
On the account settings, I set Mail, Receiving to Scheduled checks, every 5 minutes and IMAP push.
How can i get the app to show up in the notification bar?
Thanks,
jeff
