Bug in Special Notifications

Hello,
it seems to me, after the latest Update the sounds I have choosen in "Settings" - "Accounts" - (select a existing Mail-Account) - "Special Account Settings" - "Mail Notification" - "Sound" are no more the sounds that are played, if a new mail comes in.
I have 18 Accounts with different soundfiles that says "A new eMail in account (accountname) is received" in this "Special Account Settings".
But meanwhile, for example if I receive a message account 5, the soundfile from account 10 is played instead of the correct and choosen one.
Although the correct soundfile is choosen in the "Special Account Settings".
Tried to set all soundfiles once again, but no change - the wrong sounds are played.
Could the developer please check and repair this?
I need this different soundfiles to recognice, if a incoming message is important or not.
Cause my Smartphone doessn't have a Notification-LED with chooseable colors.

Do you by any chance use "priority notifications" feature?

Where you can set a different sound (and other options) if there are messages from certain sender addresses?

Also do you use "smart folder" notifications (single notification) or the default "per-account" notifications (where each accounts gets its own notification icon)?

Also "after the latest Update" isn't very specific - please check menu -> about on the app's main screen and post the exact version info.

thanks for your fast response.

Do you by any chance use "priority notifications" feature?
Where you can set a different sound (and other options) if there are messages from certain sender addresses?

I use the "Priority Notification" option in each account setting.
I doessn't set different sounds for senders, but for each receiving mail-Adresses (accounts), I have choosen an other soundfile.
For example "Settings" - "Accounts" - (account 1: xxx@yyy.com) - "Special Account Settings" - "Mail Notifications" - "Sound" (choosen file what speaks "A new mail for xxx@yyy.com has been received")
This for all 18. Accounts with different soundfiles.

Also do you use "smart folder" notifications (single notification) or the default "per-account" notifications (where each accounts gets its own notification icon)?
I use the individual notification settings what overwrite the "smart folder" notifications

So sorry, couldn't find the "About". If opening AquaMail, the smartbox opens. Don't understand, what mainscreen you're talking about.

the app's main screen is the 'Account list view' (where you can long-press on an account name to set 'Account-specific settings)... 🤓

Although all special notification settings in the individual account settings are correct, it plays for example "A new mail for account xxx@yyy.com is received", if the mail in fact was received in account aaa@bbb.com what has as notification soundfile "A new mail for account aaa@bbb.com is received".

I meant something else - do you only ever get a single notification icon no matter what the account? And this icon takes you into smart folder directly?

As opposed to a separate notification icon for each account that takes you into that account (or folder)?

Oh and do you use "deferred notifications" - sound at the end of mail check? This is off by default but please check app settings -> message notifications.

in "App-Settings" - "Notifications", I have a switched off first button "Notifications". So all other settings in this menu are greyed out and should be deactivated.
Only "Text to Speak" is in black - and this is deactivated.
This, cause I use the "Special Notification settings" thats availiable in each "Account settings".

I use the german language - therefor I am not sure what point the "deferred" is in the "App Settings" - "Notification" menu.

The option 'Deferred sound' you will find in Settings -> Message notifications -> near the end of the list (see screenshot)

this option is deactivated in my settings.
But anyhow it plays another soundfile than that what it should plays and is choosen in "Account" (xxx@yyy.com) - "Special Account Settings" - "Mail Notification" - "Sound"
The sound, Aquamail plays, is choosen in an other "Account" (aaa@bbb.com) - "Special Account Settings" - "Mail Notification" - "Sound"
Don't have a idea, how Aquamail comes in confusion with.

Um if I'm understanding you - that's exactly as intended.

An account may have (optional, not mandatory) "special settings" for notifications and if those are set, they'll be used instead of the app's notification settings.

Yeah, that I know - therefor I have deactivated generally the notifications in the App-Settings and just use the Account-Special Mail Notification Settings of each account instead.
