Android 8 - AquaMail pro - Problem to install Gmail acccount

Hi,

tried several times to install my Gmail account under Android 8 and AquaMail pro - after insert all details and password finally the sytem refused the login - after inserted emailaddress Aquamail connected me automatically via browser with my gmail account. Password accepted and i confirmed to google the login - after confirmation from goolge I' falling back to the Login.
Any idea?

Found the solution:
GMAIL app has to be deactivated in the setup - after that everything works fine
