Select "blocks" of messages

How do I select a block of messages?  Currently, I can select 'all' or 'one screen' of messages.  I would like to be able to select a top message and scroll down 25 or so and just select that group of messages.  (I am asking for something like selecting in Windows - select a top item, scroll down, hold the shift key and select just that block.  Can this be done within Aquamail?

Unfortunately, that is not possible.
One workaround that you might be able to use is to search for something that combines these messages, and then Aquamail will show these messages on one screen, and then "choose all".
And as you evidently have figured out, "choose all" can be configured to choose all messages on the screen, or really all messages.

Additionally don't forget, that you can select all messages of one day by tapping on the date header. Must be enabled in settings.
