Copy 'suggested' email addresses to new phone
« on: March 02, 2015, 11:36:30 pm »
I am upgrading to a newer phone.

I have Aquamail (Android) installed now on both phones.

There are a *ton* of email suggestions when I authored a new email on the old phone. They aren't in my contacts.

Where might these be stored, and is it possible to graft them into the new installation?  ;D

Thanks in advance,

Shawn

I *think* this is what I am talking about:

Quote
The "recent" addresses are extracted from actual messages stored on the device, every time, there is no separate storage.

As older messages are trimmed from the device's storage, the addresses in those messages will disappear too -- unless there are other, more recent, messages with same addresses.

If you need some addresses / emails for long term use, I recommend saving them in system Contacts (People), by tapping the sender's image (or color chip) in message view mode.

Here's the thing. I have a BUNCH of email addresses from emails that were deleted and then purged. For instance, from buying tools on craigslist. Those emails I know weren't kept.
