How can I split the screen?

I'll tried to split the sreen but it doesn't work. I checked all settings, but i couldn't find the subject. In the beginning it works but now it's gone.
Who can help me?

Please see app settings -> Look and feel -> "Two-Panel UI" checkbox.

The setting should be present on the Ascend P6, if the tech specs I found are true: 4.7", 1280*720.

Sirry I'm new at the Android Platform. Til niw i used ios. Where can i find "Look and feel"?
Ascend has emotion UI.
In the very beginning the splitted screen works, then i made the update with pro, add several email account, and it didnt't worked, it's gone.
Maybe you can help me again?

I have the setting on my Galaxy Nexus,
but not on the Galaxy S2!?

The Galaxy S2 is 4", 800*480, which is smaller than the two panel mode requires.
