Not quite sure what the cause of this is, but it now seems that I get no new email notification dot or mailbox refresh until I bring the mailbox into focus from the background.
Running the very latest versions of everything on a Pixel 8 Pro....Android 16 on latest security updates, play updates etc.
Everything was running perfect until I had to wipe my 'phone (rookie mistake left my phone unusable). I wiped and recovered from backup over the wkend of 7/8th Feb. I {think} everything was working fine after the recovery, but I cannot be 100%
What I am now noticing these past few days is that I am geting no notifications of new email on any of the three mailboxes that I am running in AM Pro. If I pick the app up from the background whichever mailbox I am in will check for new mail and sync fine, but I have to pick the app up from the background (swip up and select, or click the AM icon). If I click the hamburger (top left), it will show the old status of unread emails on the other mailboxes, but if I select one of the other two mailboxes it will update and sync.
I have checked all of the power settings for the app, background battery saver etc. (I have always set both AM and Signal to disregard all battery saving behaviour as I always want IM and email to notify ASAP). I have also cleared the cache on AM as well as checked rookie mistakes like notifications being switched off for the AM app.
I can confirm that battery settings for AM mirror Signal and Signal is sending notifications without issue.
The three mailboxes that I sync are: one Hotmail account, one Outlook account and one O365 Exchange work account - they are all behaving in the same way.
I am not sure if its since the wipe and recover from Google backup/AM backup or if its the latest AM update that installed on 13th Feb 1.57.1-604
Does anyone have the same issue? Fixes?
