I had hoped this would be addressed someday, but oddly it seems to persist month after month, year after year.

When I save an email as a PDF, yes a PDF file is successfully exported, but it has no '.pdf' file extension. So in order for most apps to recognise and open it as a PDF, I have to manually add the '.pdf' file extension.

TTFN :-)

Actually, I was wrong. Even saving an attached PDF truncates the file name from 'filename.pdf' to 'filename.'
Extremely weird and very annoying.
