http/1.1 401 error

hi. i'be been using Aquamail app on my Android since 2014 for my office mails and never had a problem. I have to change the pass every 45 days for security reasons and that suposed never a problem, but today  after changing it again on my Outlook mail (as usual), the app gave my an error named " HTTP/1.1 401 UNAUTHORICED LOGIN".
obviously, i tried several times to set the new pass and it doesn't work!!
the rest of the config still the same but dont give me access to the new inbox

does anyone have any idea about to solve this issue?

Just try to re-enter your password.
I don't think there is any problem on the app side.

it may help...
when i set the new password it just says error http/1.1 401 and calls me at the password page
when i set anything else at password line, it says again that that error has been done but it call a different page: the one that asks you for a new server config etc

... please, any idea?

Just to clarify @StR's suggestion:

1. Long press on the respective account name > Account setup > enter your (new) password
> tap on the button MANUAL (not: "NEXT')

2. On the next screen (Incoming server settings) scroll down to the line 'Password" > delete the "stars" (= your 'old' password) and enter your (new) password
> tap on the button "NEXT"

3. On the next screen (Outgoing server settings) scroll down to the line 'Password" > delete the "stars" (= your 'old' password) and enter your (new) password
> tap on the button "NEXT"

Now you should see a "Toast message", while the app is checking the account configuration / your login data.

4. On the next screen tap on the button "SAVE"

That's it (. hopefully)

As far as I understand, "HTTP/1.1 401 UNAUTHORIZED LOGIN" - this error tells you that the server did not accept the credentials (username/password) that were entered.
It might be due to incorrectly entered credentials, or it could also be something on the server side that was not set/propagated correctly when you changed your password.
If changing/re-entering the password as described above (and making sure that your username didn't get changed in the process), you'd still be having the same problem, - I'd suggest contacting your IT people and asking to check what might be wrong on the server side.

(Just in case, - if you have a web-access to this mail, - check that your password is working there.)

Yep, could be that too.

And just for info: for Exchange, AquaMail uses something called EWS (Exchange Mail Services), may this part of the server specifically is out of sync wrt. your password.

I'd contact the IT dept, and explain that you've used this app (AquaMail) for a long time and have changed the password before, several times, and that until the most recent password change, it always worked.
