Is there a way to only download IMAP message summaries (headers)?

Hello,

I would like to know if AquaMail supports only downloading message summaries (aka. message header summary), until the message is opened (at which point whole message downloads)?

I am trying to save on data usage, and there are only certain emails I need to actually open on my phone. The rest I am happy to just see a summary (sender and subject), and leave alone.

This use to be a common feature on IMAP email clients, but seems harder to find these days. Is it supported by AquaMail?

Yes. In app settings -> network.

You may also want to long press on the account -> options and folders -> IMAP options -> enable compression (if supported by the mail server).

Wow. Okay, I can only say this is a brilliantly flexible IMAP client for Android.
So glad to have found it. The granularity of the options you've provided are the best I've seen.
