Samsung Tablet Mail server input not resized
« on: March 24, 2016, 02:31:07 am »
Got a Samsung Galaxy Tab s2 8". Chose to use medium large fonts under vision in accessibility. When setting up an account the box for the incoming and outgoing server did not resize to the larger fonts making only the tops of the letters of the server name visible. This was not a problem before I changed the fonts, however it is the only place I've found so far that the larger font size caused a problem (assuming that is really the issue).

I do not have Aquamail installed on the tablet. On my phone, choosing large and huge fonts does not produce the effect you describe, but it is not a Samsung phone. So, I cannot reproduce what you described.
Hopefully, Kostya, when he will get to read this, will be able to reproduce it and will fix if necessary.

I'm unable to reproduce on Samsung T705 (Galaxy Tab S 8").

Tried both Extra Large and Large font sizes...

Well, this is pretty cool. I went back and looked again, got the same thing. Began thinking about what else it could be. I am using the TouchPal keyboard and since the tablet is 8" I resized the keyboard to make it larger so the keyboard takes about 1/2 of the screen (portrait mode). So I removed it, and Voila, entry is fine. I resized the keyboard to make it a little smaller and then the problem disappears. So it does not have anything to do with the font size, but instead the keyboard size.

Not sure if this is a Touchpal or Aquamail issue. Don't really care as the fix was so easy.

Thanks for the quick responses.
