Restore not working on new phone

I have used Backup and Restore on other phones to be able to use the same Settings on each phone. I save the Backup file to Dropbox. But this time I get error messages when trying to Restore on the new phone.

"Error:javax.crypto.BadPaddingException:EVP_CipherFinal_ex"
"Is the password correct?"

I don't know what password it is talking about. Any suggestions? Thanks

What are the exact AquaMail versions on old and new phones?

Was the backup made "some time ago" or just now? If it wasn't just now, can you do backup now again?

Oh, and the password is, well, the password to the file -- the backup file is encrypted (since it contains the passwords to your mail accounts), and you need to enter the same password when restoring, for the decryption to work.

Thanks for the quick response. The AM versions were the same.

I did get Restore to work. I think it was a password issue. I did another Backup and retyped a new password and then used that password for Backup. Only thing I noticed was not all settings seem to have transferred. But most did and it saved me a lot of time not having to re-configure AM on the new phone. Thanks.
