When I begin to type an address in an outgoing email, the auto-completion now takes me to the Exchange Server full address list, which in my organization contains thousands of people. I would like to avoid searching in that large collection and instead limit the search to the contact list on my phone. Is there a way to do this? Clearly, I have my account set up as an Exchange account. I could avoid the problem by setting up that same account as IMAP, but I don't know if there is a disadvantage to doing this. Any advice?

Well, the only disadvantage I can think of is that IMAP won't have Calendar sync via AquaMail -- but I don't know if you need that.

Sounds like I need to add a (per-account?) option for this...

Thanks for the reply and, of course, for the wonderful Aqua Mail app. I have switched to IMAP to avoid the problem I mentioned; I don't need the Exchange calendar.

I do think, however, that there will be many users who want to use Exchange but who will be plagued by the huge default address book that comes with Exchange in large organizations. In those cases auto-complete in the "Send To" field might be a nuisance and, to make matters worse, it increases the chance of sending an email to an incorrect recipient -- one with a name close in the first few letters to the the intended recipient. I would be great if the Exchange default address book search could be turned off in individual accounts.

Again, thanks for your great work.
