Jerky animation in latest update 1.5.7.10

Hi,

I've just upgraded to 1.5.7.10 and it seems that if I turned the animation ON, (Look and Feel > Animation), the animation of Message List view transitioning to Account List View is always jerky, even after I have cleared memory background programs.

I'm running a Samsung Note 3 FYI.

Any help?

Single panel mode?

Have same exact device (Note 3, Android 5.0), sorry, not seeing it here...

Can you try menu -> compact the database in the app's main window?

Oh, and do you, by any chance, use any animation related adjustments in system settings -> developer options?
