I run "Hibernation Manager" app on my Galaxy Note 8.0 which disconnects all connectivity when the screen is off. This saves the battery and gives me 10-15 days on one charge.
I only use email on the Note occasionally so I don't want to check it every 12 hours - which is when the alerts start beeping loudly if Aquamail hasn't been able to successfully update the mailboxes. I have 5 email accounts in Aquamail and so I get 5 loud beeps every 12 hours!
How can these be disabled? They often wake me in bed at 2-3am and drive me nuts!
